The New Forest in Britain’s smallest National Park, but with that in mind I tend to only explore the south of the New Forest as that is on the area… the challenge this week was to go out side your comfort zone, so for today’s attempt at that I decided that a walk on some of the more unknown paths of the North of the New Forest would inspire my photography with a different viewpoint.
We parked at Cadnam’s pool – here I was about to watch the ducks and Canadian guess enjoying the overcast morning.
The New Forest Ponies were my next shot, you are not suppose to wild camp anywhere in the New Forest – but I think possibly this camper van did – all the blinds were still down – but I know from camping in one of the New Forest Campsites, it is wonderful to share breakfast with them.
Some of the unique features of the forest, are the ones nature provides – look at this amazing old stump.
The North of the Forest offers some amazing views – the sky was grey today and held very little detail, but I think it helped inspire me to create these landscape monochrome shots.
