A new year a new challenge – one photo a day this month, so hopefully 31 photos – all taken in manual mode with a 22mm pancake lens which is the equivilant of a 35mm focal length lens. The idea is to practice taking control of the camera, and thinking about composition.

This has taught me so much, a fixed focal length is a challenge, forcing myself to take just one photo a day on a specific camera is restricting, I can’t include work unless it is my edited images, and I dont really think they reflect my photographic style, it is more about a sneak peak into my life and capturing snaps rather than creating photographic opportunities.
