Sticking to the flower theme, sunflowers in August.
In 2017 I will be creating another collection inspired by the Pantone Colour of the year for 2017!
One challenge of photography is to try and look at things differently – you can easily get in a creative rut by doing the same thing and taking photos at the same angle – so I headed out in the sunshine with my Nifty 50 lens, with the aim to choose a spot – sit down and spend a few moments photography and experimenting with aperture to create a range of different images of the same scene.
I headed to the beach… I took my camera, I was not really sure what I wanted to capture today, other than some photographs … I ended up enjoying the sunshine and the fresh air and taking a variety of images and experimenting! Continue reading →
My first thought was dread … taking a photo and blogging about it everyday suddenly seemed easy as now I need to plan.. I need a theme, something that I can commit to and take a photo of regularly and then I began to think more about what I could I collect and how I could make it possible, bearing in mind that circumstances change throughout the year, sometimes I can go out, sometimes I can’t, sometimes I have more time for taking photos than other times, sometimes structure is great, other times I just want to capture the moment and enjoy it for what it is….
